Every teenager probably gets the same feeling about their home. Dull, not exciting, and they'd love to be anywhere but there. Anywhere.
The same goes for Jim. The 15-year-old rebel seems to hate the fact he's stuck living on some blue-collared planet, where the sun hardly shines, and never seems to have anything worth doing there. Admittingly, it seems pretty dull, so this must be where Jimmy-Boy gets his love for solar surfing. To escape his own reality.

Montressor, despite its lack of beautiful color, seems to be an interesting place. Tiny little houses and buildings spread across part as far as the eye can see, mining companys chipping away dirt for work, and than again, there will always be the Benbow Inn, home to our hero and his mother, Sarah.
The problem about Montressor is, where are you going to surf? Yeah, it seems it has some space but if you're not careful, you're gonna ram straight through a building. Rough. So, Jim figures out that he should do all his surfing in one of the abandon mine factories. Big mistake, but it's got tons of great obsticles.
But despite all that, Montressor seems small. Real small, and for Jim, he's lived there his whole life! Until, of course, he finds the map...
